REVIEW: The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil

Hello everyone, so now that my vacation is over and I'm about to start school again I'll be able to write more reviews now and have a schedule! Today I will be reviewing The Face Shop's Rice Water Cleansing Light Oil! Oh, and before I really get into this review this is not sponsored and all opinions are 100% mine! I've had this cleanser for a little over two months and so far I like what I see.

I needed a new makeup remover cleanser so I looked up some Korean Brands and found that this has some good reviews. I bought this on Amazon and it's priced between $8-$10, which is fairly cheap. This is actually the old version of the oil, they recently updated the bottle (and maybe the formula) so please don't read this if you're looking for the updated version!
I had another cleansing oil from Etude House that I liked but I wanted something new. Although I like Etude House's cleansing oil I didn't feel like my face was being cleaned thoroughly. My skin is also prone to acne so I wanted to be able to use something that wouldn't make my skin anymore oiler than it needed to be.
So here are some closeups of the product:
(Front)
(Back)
(Up close of pump)
When this arrived there wasn't a box that went with it, there was just plastic wrap around it. I thought that was interesting but I didn't mind it since that meant less clutter. I really like how it has the stopper for the pump because I always get nervous for when I travel. I absolutely hate messes and I don't like losing product either!
One particular detail I don't like is that everything on the back is in Korean, which of course isn't a huge deal. All I had to do was look up the ingredients and how to use online so it wasn't like the world was ending, ha!
Speaking of ingredients I looked them up to show you:

ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRGLYCERIDE, SORBETH-30 TETRAOLEATE, POLYGLYCERYL-10 DIISOSTEARATE, ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) BRAN OIL, SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL, WATER, GLYCERIN, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) EXTRACT (15mg),  SAPONARIA OFFICINALIS LEAF EXTRACT, FRAGRANCE , BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAL, HYDROXYCITRONELLAL, LIMONENE, LINALOOL

From what I can see none of the ingredients seem to be harmful or will damage your skin. Now you could use this as a regular cleanser but that's not why I bought so I thought I'd show you how well it takes off makeup!
(From left to right: Coral Cutie (ELF), 09 (Kate Lipstick), and Lively (Bare Minerals Lip gloss))
The first two swatches are lipsticks while the last one is a lip gloss!
(After cleanse)
For the lipsticks and gloss I found that once I pumped it and rubbed in the oil the makeup melted away. If you add just a little water in the oil it builds up and then the products really come off.
I don't actually use this for my eyes but I thought I'd try some eyeliner to see how well it works!
(From left to right: Tattoo Liner - Trooper (Kat Von D), Dark Brown (Stilla), and Brightening Eyeliner Pencil (ELF))
The first two are liquid waterproof eyeliners while the last one is a regular pencil!
(After cleanse)
The first two eyeliners were definitely harder to get off and I would really recommend this for your eyes unless it's just a pencil eyeliner that's easy to get off.
Overall I like this product and I feel like it does get a lot of my makeup off. I do of course double cleanse but I don't do it because I think my makeup hasn't been removed, it's just a routine for me.
PROS:
It's not too expensive
One pump is good for your whole face
It's good for acne/sensitive skin
No harmful ingredients
A light oil
Takes off most makeup
Cons:
Not available in the U.S (that I know of)
It doesn't remove waterproof makeup well
Directions are in Korean
Would I buy it again?
Yes I would!
