Where was I this past week?

SURPRISE I'M STILL HERE! I know I disappeared for about a week (my last post being last Monday) and I'm sure some of you are confused because I posted my new schedule and I literally stuck with it for one day. Don't worry I'm still going to post on those three days but there are still some days where my personal troubles overcome me and I don't feel up to post on here or on Instagram.... I'm trying to get better at that but life happens... This post is going to be a short one since I didn't really have a plan for today but I just wanted to let you all know that I'm okay!
OH...Actually, I do have a small announcement !!!!
There will be a bigger announcement later in the summer but I'm planning on making my own website so I can create it the way I want it! I enjoy using blogger but I had to buy a template and sometimes I wish I could customize it more. I'm VERY excited for that but I have to work on my church's website first! So you probably won't hear any more about this until August! I think that's all I have to say today, I will be back on Monday!!!

What I eat in a week | 1 |

Hi everyone, I hope the start of your day has been fabulous! From my last post, you would know that on Monday's it will be more lifestyle oriented. Today's post will be starting a new series, 'What I eat in a week'. Close friends and family members know that this summer I'm dedicated to getting in shape and eating healthy. Living on campus for the first time was really different for me this year and I definitely did not eat healthily (like chicken fingers and fries every day). So I grabbed this cute notebook at 5 Below a few years ago (I love stationary and I tend to hoard them) to write down what I eat each day.
The notebook has a nice nature vibe to it

Posting Schedule & New Changes!

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a fantastic day so far! In my last post, (if you haven't read it click here!), I mentioned that today would be an update on how I'm running the blog and what the posting schedule is going to be like for the summer. Since I've come home I've only written 3 posts (if you include this one) and I need to get on a schedule to keep myself organized and so that you all will know when you can find a new post.
I plan to post 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and if I have a really busy week and want to share an experience then on Saturday or Sunday (but that won't be very often). Monday's topics will generally be about what I ate in a week, financial, health -- basically, it'll be lifestyle posts. Wednesday's post will always be a review whether it's skincare, makeup, electronics -- anything that I find either amazing or absolutely horrible. Friday's post will be a free day where I post whatever I feel like talking about whether it's the news, another review, or more lifestyle posts.
As you can tell this isn't going to be a long post today but the future posts on Friday will be much longer! I hope you'll keep up with me every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

REVIEW: Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer

Hello, it's been a while since I last wrote a review (literally a little over a year)! Before we begin, I just want to apologize in advance it if seems like the post is all over the place and if the pictures don't look that great (I forgot how much time and effort it takes to take/edit pictures). In the next post, which will be out on Friday, I will have more information about the direction of this blog. For the meantime, enjoy this review!

Hello Again!

Hello, my friends! I know it's been a very long time since I last posted...Actually, it's been almost a year since I wrote last and it was an update on what was going on in my life. I had planned a lot of things for this blog but I became much busier than I had expected -- some of it was good and some bad (but that's life!). School has always been my number one priority and the first semester away was really hard for me and I had to make A LOT of changes. Luckily I got the help I needed and changed for the better. Throughout this year I've seen myself change and I've discovered a lot about myself and what I love and I realized how much I loved this blog but just didn't put the time or effort in it like I did in 2015 (and part of 2016).
