Hi everyone ^.^

Hi everyone! I know I've been MIA the past few weeks and I think I mentioned the reason why if I were to disappear for a short time. BUUUUT if you didn't know the reason it was because of my schoolwork and finals. I've been studying like crazy and I'm almost done with this semester. I'm a little burnt out from school but I have even more classes next semester and I'm not exactly looking forward to it, haha!
Even though I'll be on break in a few days, right after Christmas ends I'll be taking an online class. Including my winter break class I think I'll be taking 7 classes and a lab next year :( I REALLY want to update more but unfortunately for now school is my priority. I'll also be applying to schools so I can transfer next fall as well. I have a lot going on with school so please wait for me ^^
I have A LOT of reviews that I'm behind on (as in like 15 reviews I need to write) but I'll get there eventually! I even skipped my juice beauty update (mostly because I forgot to take pictures) so I'll try again later >.<
A fun update on my skin and the products/tools that I use:
I changed toners! Before I was using one by Derma e now I've switched over to one from Juice Beauty. I was using the Ultra Rechargeable Facial Cleansing Brush but I was breaking out, yes I am aware the the skin purges at first, but after two months nothing changed so I stopped using it. A full review on that product will be up eventually. So for right now I'm just using my hands. I am looking into buying a brush but I'm not sure if I'm going to buy the Clarisonic or try a Korean brand.
So that's my small little update. Tomorrow or Tuesday I should be posting again and hopefully since I'm kind of on a break I'll be more active!

REVIEW: Be a Bombshell - Pucker Up

Hey everyone, so I'm actually super behind on my reviews so in the next few posts you'll probably notice that the pictures have more of a fall theme than a winter/Christmas theme. Fun fact: I try to take my pictures in bulk that way I'm not as stressed! Enough of my rambles, today I'll be reviewing How to be a bombshell's in the shade Pucker up. This comes 10 different shades and is priced at $14 on their official website.

BirchBox: November 2015

Hi everyone, today I'll be showing you what I got in my November Birchbox! A lot of people who are into beauty and makeup know about Birchbox and have a subscription but it's my first time buying one. I heard about Birchbox from a friend a few years ago but at the time I wasn't that interested in subscribing to one and I didn't have a job at the time either to afford them.
They're normally around $10 a month -- which is a great deal and they have multiple samples you can try. On their website you can look up what products you have and buy them in full size if you want, buy gifts for others, and much more. Another perk is that you can review the products they give you and you can earn points for the store!

REVIEW: Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Mask & Green Apple Peel

Hi everyone, I know I haven't updated in two weeks but school has been so busy and on top of that the holiday season has started. I'll try to update as much as I can through this season but finals are coming up in a few weeks and all my focus will be on that. Also just a fun little hint I'll be starting up a store on storenvy soon so I'll let you know what happens in the future!

REVIEW: John Frieda Light Natural Brown Precision Foam Colour

Hi everyone! This post is a little late due to school ANNNNNND me getting a job! My marketing professor offered me a seasonal job at her turkey farm so I'm helping out during the holidays. Today I will be reviewing John Frieda's Foam Colour Precision in Light Natural Brown. I've used John Frieda's hair dye one other time and I was quite happy with the results so I thought I'd try a new color!

REVIEW: H&M Lush Lip Vinyl Plum Fairy

Hi guys! Today is just going to be a quick review since I have class and I'll be away studying for most of the day. Please excuse my lack of pictures I was in a bit of a rush to get this out since I'm trying to stick to a schedule (If I don't post on the day I'm suppose to it messes up a lot of things). Well enough of that, I'm going to be reviewing H&M's Lush Lip Vinyl in Plum Fairy.

Juice Beauty Challenge: Week 9-12

Hi everyone, it's been another four weeks so that means more pictures of my acne! I've made some more tweaks to my skincare routine so I've broken out much more than I normally do. I'll show you the pictures now so I can explain what's going on in more detail later.

REVIEW: Dollar Shave Club

Hi guys, today I'll be reviewing the Dollar Shave Club's razors. I saw the ads on Facebook for the razors but I had little interest in it other than it was pretty cheap. I asked one of my best friends what he thought and he too was interested but wasn't sure if they were actually any good. I did some research and found reviews that said that they really liked them and thought they were good quality. For some reason I still wasn't sold even after reading those reviews but I immediately purchased them after I saw their commercial for it.

REVIEW: Juice Beauty Blemish Be Gone

Happy Sunday! I only woke up a little while ago and I'm still extremely tired, so I'm sorry if I don't catch any of my grammar or spelling mistakes. This weekend has been a little busy for me; my two best friends came back this weekend to celebrate their grandmother's 90th birthday! She still looks great and her birthday party was a success! I ended up going to see the new James Bond movie last night and it was really good, a little disappointed by the ending but that's okay! Anyways today I'll be reviewing Juice Beauty's Blemish Be gone!

REVIEW: Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum

Hi everyone, I know the post is a little late (it's past midnight here) but no worries I didn't forget to post! I'm not even sure if I've told you all but I plan to write a post at least every other day. I'll tell you more about that in another post, but today I will be reviewing Juice Beauty's Blemish Clearing Serum. I bought this on their website near the end of June, it's lasted me quite a while and I'm very happy with this product. You can use this as a replacement of a toner if you wish but I still use a toner. This particular serum is anti-imperfections and if you check on their website they have some for anti-aging. Like I said before you can buy the serum on their website at juicebeauty.com or at Whole Foods Market and Ulta.

Hi guys, today I will be reviewing Juice Beauty's Blemish Clearing Cleanser. Now most of you know that I am currently on this Juice Beauty challenge and I have been using their products for about 11 weeks now (week 12 update will be posted next Wednesday). If you've visited the site or read my introduction to Juice Beauty (click here for that post) you'll know that there's a skin test you can take.

REVIEW: Kat Von D Lip Vixen Duo

Hi everyone, now I know what you're thinking..."Wow, Jona sure is updating a little more frequently now"! Well I made a schedule and it's been keeping me more organized...Okay I've had this schedule since June but nonetheless I finally have gotten use to it! Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Lip Vixen Duo! I got this at Sephora back in August when I went shopping with some friends. Originally I wasn't going to buy this because I didn't really need another red lipstick but I realllllly wanted the nude lipstick so I caved in, oops!

REVIEW: Derma e Soothing Toner

Hi everyone, today I'll be reviewing Derma e's Soothing Toner! I happened to come upon this at Whole Foods while I was looking for my regular toner from Juice Beauty. At the time Whole Foods wasn't carrying the one I needed and I wasn't about to order it online because of time, so I opted for Derma e. I went with Derma e because I had their makeup remover (click here for the review) and I knew it was all natural so I had confidence in their products.

TomBox - October 2015

Hi everyone, today I'll be introducing and showing you TomBoxes! Now Jona, what is a TomBox exactly? Oh I'm so glad you asked! A TomBox is a Time-Of-Month Box and inside you get tampons/pads, candy, jewelry, makeup, and anything else that will make you feel beautiful when you feel like you're on the verge of death! You can customize what you might want to receive in your box and the lowest amount you can pay for one is $10. For pads it's an extra $6 and if you want double the amount of makeup and accessories it's also another extra $6. I'm not gonna lie I was tempted to go double the amount but I am a broke college student! I didn't end up buying any tampons/pads either, which I regret now because I just realized I'm out :(

Stitch Fix - October 2015

Hi everyone, today is a fun day becauseeeeee I got a Stitch Fix! Stitch Fix is a company that gives you clothes based on your needs. First you fill out a quiz so they know what type of style you want and what fits you best. Then they set your up with your own personal stylist and they pick out five articles of clothing or accessories that they'll think you love and they send it to you! The best part is you get to keep the clothes up to five days to decide what you really love and if there are some items you don't want/need you can send back to them! I honestly love this site because I don't always know what I want for the season or know what's cool or "in" to wear.

Juice Beauty Challenge: Week 5-8

Hey guys, so it's been another four weeks! That means a new update on how my skin is looking! Before we dive right in I just wanted to say that I have broken out a little bit when using this but I feel like it's a good thing. I know weird right? Why would I think breaking out is a good thing? Well the breakouts seemed to be more controlled and it involved more white heads than anything.

Juice Beauty Challenge: 1-4 Week

Hi everyone, so my last post was about the haul I recently did with Juice Beauty. By now I'm sure many of you are aware of how in love I am with their products. I've always read the different reviews and how they're like magic and make acne disappear. Earlier this summer I only used two of their items and I saw a small but noticeable difference in my skin. When I did my haul I decided that I'd take pictures once a week to show everyone the differences!

Juice Beauty Haul: September 2015

Hi everyone! I know I haven't posted much this much, but school is a lot more stressful than I though it would be :( I am doing well in classes it's just a lot more work, haha! I was going to write this back at the end of August but I thought I'd wait because I ordered a few more items a week or two later. So as you all know I am a HUGE fan of Juice Beauty and I've really gotten into their products. I decided to order the whole skin care regimen for my skin type!

REVIEW: Sephora's Daily Brush Cleaner

Hey guys, today I'll be reviewing Sephora's Daily Brush cleaner! Before I begin this review is not sponsored and all opinions are 100% mine. I don't put makeup on too often but I had once heard you should clean your brushes once a month. So while I  browsing the shelves at Sephora one day, I happened to see this and give it a try!

REVIEW: Mini Tidy detangling comb

Hi everyone, today I will be reviewing the mini tidy detangling comb from Sephora! Before I begin this is not a sponsored post and all opinions are 100% mine. I dye my hair quite often and because of that a lot of it has been falling out. I've seen these combs around and have been interested in them so I picked one up when I was at the mall with some friends one day.

REVIEW: Derma e Makeup Remover

Hi everyone, today I'm reviewing Derma e's makeup remover! Before I begin this is not a sponsored product and all opinions are 100% mine. As you all know I already use The Face Shop's makeup remover but I bought this specifically for my eyes. The eye is a very sensitive region and I wanted something that wouldn't irritate me and that would still moisturize the area.

REVIEW: Kose Clear Turn Essence Facial Mask with Hyaluronic Acid

Hey guys, I'm back to review these awesome sheet masks from Kose! Before I begin this review is not sponsored and all opinions are 100% mine! I bought them on amazon and they're priced for around $13. I discovered these sheet masks through a youtuber named kimdao; she's so pretty and has great content, definitely check her out!

Today I will be reviewing The Face Shop's Rice Water Cleansing Light Oil! Oh, and before I really get into this review this is not sponsored and all opinions are 100% mine! I've had this cleanser for a little over two months and so far I like what I see.

My Cape Cod Vacation: Summer 2015

Hello everyone, I'm sure you have noticed my lack of updates again but I was away on vacation again with some friends the past week. I left on the 12th and came back the 16th; it was a short trip compared to my Newport vacation but I had lots of fun! My best guy friend's family has a summer house in the Cape so him, his brother, the brother's friend, our friend Jess, the grandmother, and I stayed there!
The house was right next to a private beach so it was a lot of fun going to the beach at night and walking around. Surprisingly we didn't go in the water at all, but none of us really felt like it whenever we would go. In the mornings we would have breakfast and play different types of games to entertain ourselves. Then at night we would go out and watch the sunset!
While we were there we were able to see the different comets and stargaze! It's so beautiful seeing all the stars in the sky! I remember learning in my Astronomy class that if you go to a place that doesn't have a lot of light pollution the stars are a great site, which is absolutely true!
I didn't take a lot of pictures while I was there but I took a few of the sunset each night!

I'm not really sure what the last picture was but my friend took it of me, haha!
Anyways I hope everyone's vacation is going well and don't forget to get ready for school soon!
-Jona

Question of the day: How often do you go to the beach?

REVIEW: Secret Key's Snail Repairing Cream

Hi guys, today I'll be reviewing Secret Key's Snail Repairing Cream! Before I start I want to state that this is not sponsored and all opinions are my own.
I've been using this as a moisturizer for almost a year now and I can say with full confidence that I like this cream a lot. They don't sell any Secret Key items in the U.S. that I'm aware of so I bought mine online from Jolse a store based in Korea; the cream is priced at $10.69 USD currently.

Introducing Juice Beauty!

Hi everyone, today I want to introduce the great skincare brand Juice Beauty to you all! Juice Beauty is becoming more and more popular and known with people who have skin troubles. Before I start I want to state that this is not a promotional post for the company, this is just me trying to spread the word. I truly believe that this an amazing brand and that they have amazing skincare products!
I discovered Juice Beauty a couple of months ago when my sister came back from school; her friend used Juice Beauty and gave her some samples to try. My sister told me that her friend had some pretty severe acne and that when she used Juice Beauty it all went away! Hearing that made me excited because I've struggled with acne since I was in middle school and I still am struggling with it and I'm 19 years old going into my second year of college.
I went on there website and researched as much as I could about the products. I needed to know what was in them and if it would be worth using in the long run; and I was not disappointed! They have a few sections where you can find the ingredients they use and why, different charts of the face, and what products can do. Did I mention that all the products are organic, because they are and most are vegan, gluten-free, cruelty free, paraben free, and much more.
Knowing that this brand is organic and knowing what the ingredients are and what they do made me feel 100 times better. I like to know what each thing does and if it could bring harm to my face or body. I truly believe everyone should use natural and organic products because it's safer for your body and kind to nature!
The pictures above are where you can find information on the ingredients, why they use them, the many awards they've won, and much more!
Another great thing about this company is that they have a lot of products for a lot of different skin types. While you explore the site you'll even find that they have different collections for certain groups (e.g. ladies who are pregnant).
I think the best part is that if you're not sure what products to be buying they have a skin quiz and afterwards they tell you the products you can buy with the links!
I took the quiz and this is what it came up with!
Once you decide what you like and want to buy you can sign up to get their emails and it'll give you 15% off your first purchase.
I know a big concern for many is money and I'm in the same boat as well! Using the 15% really helps and I know for some you can't continuously buy their products but if you wait long enough they always have great sales! Like I said before it can be quite expensive but in the long run it's been worth it for me. I'm not completely clear but I have seen a difference in my skin!
You don't have to get their products just online though, you can also buy they items and a Whole Foods near you! I'm not sure where else they sell them but they have a store locater in the right hand corner so you can check in your area!
I hope you all check this brand out if you haven’t; I honestly love their stuff and would recommend it to anyone that asks!

Question of the day: Do you believe that using organic ingredients for skincare is good?

My coworkers forgot I was a girl o.o

Okay I know by just reading this title some of you are like, "How could your co-workers forget that you’re a girl???" Well it's pretty simple to be honest. So let me start at the beginning of this funny story. I work at a minor league baseball field in the kitchens with mainly boys around my age. There are girls that work at the field but a lot of them work in the front part of the kitchen where they cashier, while I work in the back of the kitchen and I cook and wrap the food.

My Newport Vacation: Summer 2015

Hello everyone, if you read my last post you know that I was away last week in Newport, RI! It's a great place to visit and I highly suggest going away on vacation there. There's a lot of things to do everyday and you'll always have a good time! I've been going to Newport since I was in elementary school so if in the near future any of you decide to go I wanted to give you some suggestions of where to go!

I'm on vacation!! - Newport 2015

Hello! So it's been a while since my last post because of my laziness (oops). I was originally going write at least 5 other posts but like I said my laziness kicked in and then I actually became with other things. But just a small update is that I'm currently on vacation in Newport, RI!
There's a condo I stay at for a week every summer that's right near the Tennis Hall of Fame and right across from The Elms. It's always beautiful wherever you go, with the the beaches, mansions, and cliff walk to explore.

The 30-Day Squat and Easy Push Up Challenge - 5th&6th Rest day

Hi everyone, I know I forgot to update on the actual fifth day but things got busy and I didn't even realize it T.T Basically I haven't been really doing my squat or arm challenge....I will catch up by the next rest day I promise! Because I don't have much to say about the actual challenge I'll update you all on some other stuff I have planned for the future!

The 30-Day Squat and Easy Push Up Challenge - 4th Rest day

Heyo~ Sorry I haven't been posting a lot summer has been very busy so far! Here's just a small update of my challenge :)
First off my legs get SUPER sore after I do all my squats which is totally typical of what's suppose too happen. Unfortunately I've been lazy (and busy) so I haven't been keeping up with my days. For example, even though today is a rest day I crammed in two squat days.
Honestly, I do fine up until I have work days because doing them before work is out of the question. I refuse to do over 100 squats then stand for 4+ hours at work, my legs would be dead. Then by the time I get home I'm too tired and end up going to sleep and forgetting about them until the next day.
I haven't really done my pushups.... For me they're hard and not fun and I don't care about them as much. My arms are literally twigs, and at the moment I'm not completely focused on them. So for me it's okay that it's like this.
Anyways that's my small update! I have a review I'll be posting in the next few days ^^ so that'll be a nice change from my constant updates!
