Hi everyone~ Today's challenge is to let go of a goal! I was actually looking forward to this challenge because letting things go is hard for me. I'm normally the type of person who will think about something for ages or hold onto that one small shred of hope. But it is good to learn to let things go because you can't always control what will happen and it's healthier for you.
On day 12 of this challenge I talked about some of my goals for the year I thought that I would let one of them go. I try to make my goals something that I'll be able to achieve and it's not too hard, where it's impossible. I believe there were about five goals I wrote down and the one I decided to let go is to stay in shape.
Now I'm not saying that I'm going to completely trash the idea but I won't be as hard on myself like I was before. For me staying in shape meant having toned everything and being a stick, which is not the healthiest plan and not the most attainable.
So that goal/idea of being hardcore in shape is gone and now I have the goal to be in shape but on a healthier level. That means trying to eat the right food but letting myself splurge once in a while, and exercising the right amount but not going overboard.
I think letting that goal go is good because now I can improve myself for the better!
